PTFA AGM

Following this year’s PTFA AGM, we are pleased to announce that we raised over £1,800 (25/264 academic year) which has funded the following:
· Chester Zoo
· Peter and the Wolf Christmas performance
· Ikea Storage boxes (for outdoor equipment)
· A Christmas gift for each child
· Y6 leavers Domino pizzas
· Coach travel to Laches Wood & Victoria Hall
We have some exciting fundraising plans already in place for this academic year:
· Movie Nights
· Christmas Fayre
· Valentines Disco
· Colour Run
· Summer Fayre
We are hoping to raise as much, if not more, than we did last year. We are currently looking into what we could potentially use the funds for and (depending on costs and monies raised) ideas include Jack and the Beanstalk Christmas pantomime at Festival Drayton Centre, new PE mats, a full school day trip in June/July 2027, air coolers/solar window film, iPads, forest school, playground improvements, cashless payment options for our events, trip/coach funded for each classroom.
We have recently purchased a gorgeous ‘buddy bench’ sign in celebration of World Mental Health Day so that if any child feels they have no-one to play with, they always have somewhere to go. We want to encourage thoughtfulness and kindness, in line with the school values.
As always, we truly appreciate everything you do to support us in raising money for these brilliant enrichments for our children.

About Us
We have an extremely enthusiastic and active PTFA in our school.
Our team include Committee officers Deborah Rich, Claire Slater, Rowena Ventress and members Victoria Evans, Charlotte Pilkington and Lucy Penwright and we all work together to turn our ideas into fun events for you all.
We are a small team of very busy parents trying to juggle family life, jobs and PTFA tasks.
We are always happy to welcome new members or occasional helpers to the PTFA and would like to encourage all parents/carers who are able, to get involved in whatever way you can. You do not need to be a committee member, but you can help with event ideas, organising or running events.
So, whether you want to help at a specific event, look after something specific such as co-ordinate the uniform sale & organise the branded cardigans, jumpers and ties, or if you work for a company who can match fund and you want to help that way – there’s always a place for you in the team.
We are a PTFA = parent, teach & friends association – so everyone is welcome to join us.
If you can help us out with planning and running any of the events, please let us know.

Stikins
One of the many ways in which you can help raise funds for our school is by purchasing Stikins ® name labels. The school receives a commission for every purchase and the commission rate raises the more orders they receive.
Stikins ® products simply stick onto the wash care label of clothes and can also be used to label shoes and all school possessions and personal items.
Stikins ® are the modern way of labelling school items with absolutely no need to spend hours sewing or ironing in name tapes; these labels simply stick in and stay in – there’s nothing more to it!
