The Mucklestone Messenger – Written by Our Children
We are delighted to introduce The Mucklestone Messenger, our school’s very own newsletter created entirely by the children in Year 5 and Year 6.
Each edition is planned, written and designed by the pupils themselves. From news reports and interviews to creative writing, fun facts and event highlights, the newsletter gives our older children a chance to:
- develop their writing and editing skills
- work collaboratively as a team
- share important stories from across the school
- celebrate achievements from all year groups
- give a pupil’s-eye view of life at St Mary’s
The children have taken great pride in producing a high‑quality newsletter that reflects our wonderful school community.
